In winter, from December to February, the temperature is pleasant but to swim can be a bit cold, especially in December and January: depends on the day and the intensity of the wind, depends also on the individual characteristics (that is, if you are more or less sensitive to the cold). On coolest days the minimum down around 12 degrees and the maximum stay around 18/20 degrees.
Summer is hot and sunny. Typically the humidity is not very high, and the heat is not as intense as in the inland areas of Egypt, also often (but not always) the wind blows, it makes the heat more bearable.
